Software Engineer II

• Core Java, Java Fundamentals & Javascript (Java Classes, Data structure, algorithm, Packages and Methods, Java Collections framework, Exception handling, Logging, JDBC, I/O Package, Multithreading.)
• Experience in Java application development, Strong Design and Architecture fundamentals a must-have.
• Prior experience working on IoT/IIoT based products/solutions is preferred.
• Experience with working as a full-stack developer on either of Azure/AWS/GCP cloud platforms desired.

The developer Engineer shall be responsible for technical architecture, design, implementation and delivery of product feature/functions for IoT/IIoT based software products/solutions. The person should have strong experience on Java technologies (listed below) and aspire for new technology learning. Exposure to Cloud/SaaS based product/solution building Is good to have.
Skills:

• Core Java & Java Fundamentals (Java Classes, Data structure, algorithm, Packages and Methods, Java Collections framework, Exception handling, Logging, JDBC, I/O Package, Multithreading.)
• Experience in Java application development, Strong Design and Architecture fundamentals a must-have.
• Prior experience working on IoT/IIoT based software products/solutions is preferred.
• Design and Architecture, problem solving.
• Exposure to Code quality practices/tools & agile processes will be advantage.
• Should be hands-on and able to own couple of modules on the project
• Should be pro-active in learning new technologies, processes and work with minimum supervision

Additionally experiences on one or more of the below areas is good to have:
- - RESTful APIs / microservices and deploying it in Docker and Kubernetes

• SQL/NoSQL technologies like Cockroach, PostGres, Elastic, MongoDB and Druid
• Strong Java Fundamentals
• Expertise in development with web technologies like Java Script, ReactJS, HTML5 etc. will be a plus.
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure such as Azure/AWS/GCP will be a plus..
